This impressionistic movie does not have a linear plot where a sequence of outer actions move the story along. Instead the progress is through emotion or internal evolution not external plot. Core moments that are strung on a thin structure of the plot that holds together the of the storytelling - like an exoskeleton rigging. That does not mean this film is abstract - in fact great emphasis is placed on clarity and relatability to our inner lives.

A beautiful young woman Maya with a deep hunger for connection who has an charged sexual encounter with a mysterious and attractive stranger at a campfire. He disappears but she does not forget him.

A year later he receives a phone call in the middle of the night from him where she remains anonymous but gives him enough hints so that he remembers. They fall into a long distance relationship on the phone. Maya descends to being a child with her lover. She projects her childlike trust to him, but one day he suddenly - without any explanation -- cuts off the relationship.

Maya - confused and searching for answers, withdraws from the world. She goes walking alone at night, trying to understand how much of an untamed force her love is. She is then visited by a Tantrik father figure who counsels her about detachment and how the world begins and ends with how she sees it.
